Season 4

The fourth season brings together some of Malgudi's most memorable tales, blending humour, satire, mystery and deeply human drama. Stories such as A Hero, An Astrologer's Day, Doctor's Word and Forty-Five a Month examine courage, fate, friendship and family, while Lawley Road offers a sharp satire of bureaucracy and post-independence identity. The season closes with stories that highlight the warmth, eccentricity and timeless character of R. K. Narayan's fictional town.
